What do you believe?

You can learn more about what we believe at our Belief Page

What time do I need to arrive?

We recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the beginning of each service. This will help you find a seat easier, and it will help your comfort level so that you do not walk in after the worship service starts.

What do I Wear?

You are welcome at Garland Baptist just as you are. We have members in coat and tie, members in jeans and t-shirt, and everywhere in the middle. We meet to worship the Lord and fellowship with other believers. We believe that it's the attitude of your heart that matters to God, rather than your physical appearance.

How long is the Service?

Our early Sunday Morning Service lasts from 8:15-9:15 am. Our late Sunday Morning service lasts from 10:30-11am

Sunday night Services are from 5:45 - 6:30pm and Wednesday night services are from 7:00pm - 7:45pm.

What style of music is used?

We use a blended service so that we can worship contemporary and hymnals. We do have events for the youth and children that usually are all contemporary style music.  We have a choir and welcome anyone that wants to be apart of it.

What version of the Bible do you use?

Our Pastor preaches from the NIV (New International Version). We accept all versions of the Bible that hold true to God's Word

How do I get involved in Sunday School?

Sunday School is the place were you can come be part of a small group who will care for you and challenge you in your walk with Christ.  This is a great opportunity to connect with other believers on a more personal level and develop friendships that will be with you through life's ups and downs. It is also a time for you to grow spiritually and gain more understanding about God's Word as you discuss topics that are relevant to your life.

Sunday School 9:30-10:15am.

How can I serve others and get involved in the body of Christ?

There are numerous ways to get involved in the body of Christ.  The Church is always in need of laypersons, prayer warriors, choir members, teachers, etc.  If you want to learn more about how to get involved, please talk with one of our Staff members.  You can also visit our Missions Page and

Get Involved Page to learn more about mission work performed at Garland Baptist.

Where do my children go for Worship Services?

Children are welcome in the service. We like to see the future of our church grow. We have a children's lesson that usually takes place up front every Sunday morning where the students come in front of the church to hear the message of the Lord. We do have a nursery for children under the age of 3 available.
